Please pray for the eternal repose of the souls of Alan Mogridge. and Stephen Wishart

NOVEMBER, MONTH OF THE FAITHFUL DEPARTED: At the back of the church there are special

November envelopes. You are invited to take one and inside put a list of the names of

anyone you wish to be prayed for: family members of friends who have died. Place the

envelope in the basket next to the altar. They will be prayed for during November.

If you wish Fr Allan to say a Mass for your deceased relatives and friends, please use t

he usual Mass offering envelope and give it to Fr Allan.

NEXT SUNDAY IS WORLD DAY OF THE POOR. There will be a Special Collection for St Catharine's

Homeless Project in Edinburgh which is run by the Sisters of Mercy at their convent in

Lauriston Gardens. This service is offered to homeless and disadvantaged people, up to

200 a day. Meals, shower and toilet facilities plus friendship and practical support are

provided. Also cooking supplies are available and a place for support groups and

re-homing services.
