Way of the Cross

There is stations of the Cross in the church every Friday after the 10am morning Mass. Come and go the way of the Cross with the Lord and be blessed.



Children due for confirmation should kindly give me their names by the 25th of March.


Altar Servers

I should like to meet all Altar Servers and all who wish to join the Altar Servers next Saturday at 11am in the church.


Requiem Mass

The requiem Mass of Rachel Cooke will be on Monday 14 March in the church at 10am. Come and pray for the repose of her soul and for her family.

Lent – Stations of the Cross
The Archdiocesan Pro-Life Stations of the Cross takes place online throughout Lent, each Tuesday on Zoom at 7:45pm. It continues on 15 March and will feature a reflection from Fr Paul Lee (St Agatha’s, Methil). Pray with clergy and parishioners from across the Archdiocese for mothers, unborn children and all pro-life intentions. Register at bit.ly/prolifeevents

Lourdes Pilgrimage
The Archdiocesan Lourdes Pilgrimage is back! Demand is expected to be high for this popular and life-enhancing trip so booking now is recommended. It takes place from 8-15 July and will be led by Archbishop Cushley. All the details you need are at www.edinburgh-lourdes.com/lourdes22

Missio Scotland

There are a few copies of Missio Scotland Newsletters at the back of the church for those who will like to read them. In it you learn what Missio Scotland is all about and what happens to your donations to them. There are also a few envelopes for those who will like to support them.

Event for Married Couples
A Holy Hour for married and engaged couples takes place on Sunday 3 April at 4pm in the Gillis Centre, 100 Strathearn Road, Edinburgh. It features a testimony from Anton and Angela Collela, a Catholic couple from Glasgow who will discuss the spirituality of marriage and the importance of faith in family life, based on their own experience of 34 years’ marriage. SCIAF Ukraine Appeal
Parishioners who wish to make donations but would prefer it is sent through the Parish can kindly leave their donation in the basket labelled Ukraine. These will be send to SCIAF on your behalf after next Sunday.

Prayer Group

The prayer Group meets in the Lady Chapel of the church every Wednesday from 10.30 until 11.30am.


Catholics in health and social care
A training day about the ethical challenges of work in the health and care sector takes place at The Gillis Centre, 100 Strathearn Road, Edinburgh, on Saturday 19 March from 9:30am to 3:30pm. Speakers will lead discussions on assisted suicide, accompaniment of the dying and conscientious objection.
